Welcome to Finnish Internet Chess Service ShakkiNet. The purpose of ShakkiNet is to give you the latest news, results, information about current tournaments, the best chess links and much more.

The word shakki means chess in Finnish, so we try to focus on Finnish tournaments and Finnish players playing abroad, and our services are mostly directed at the Finnish chess public. Unfortunately this means that most of the articles here are in Finnish at the moment. However, all ideas and suggestions are welcome at: info@shakki.net.
