The chess club of Eastern Helsinki was established 50 years ago in 1967.
The club is located in Myllypuro, which has great public transportation connections.
It is one of the most active clubs in Finland. The club evenings are held on Mondays and Thursdays from September to May
Everyone interested in chess are very warm welcome.
Eastern Helsinki’s chess club evenings are held on Mondays and Thursdays from September to May. They are held in the meeting room of Liikuntamylly, which is next to the Myllypuro metro station in the address Myllypurontie 1, 00920 Helsinki. You can find us downstairs in the meeting room No. 2
In July, the club meets on Mondays at the different address Hiomotie 10 (blizt-tournament)
In June and August the club is closed
Club nights start at 6:00 p.m. and end by 10 p.m.
On Mondays: 15-min touranment
On Thursdays: blizt-tournament and 1,5-hour tournament
At our chess club we speak Finnish, Swedish, English, Russian, German, Danish.
